TechsBench is a community where security-system installers share technical help. If you have any questions about your data, contact us at hello@techsbench.com.
Details you give us: your name, email, company and sector, and optionally a phone number, address and account photo. Content you create: questions, replies, chat messages, attachments and votes. Technical data: essential sign-in cookies, and — only if you enable notifications — your device's push subscription.
To run the community, show your contributions next to your name, verify that members are genuine installers, and send the notifications you've opted into. We don't use your data for advertising and we don't sell it.
We process your data to provide the service you've signed up for, and in our legitimate interest of running a trusted trade community. Push notifications are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
Our infrastructure providers acting as data processors: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). Other approved members can see your public profile — name, company, sector, photo and your contributions.
We keep your data until you delete your account.
You can access and correct your details in Settings, and permanently erase your account via Settings → Danger zone. You may also object to or restrict processing. If you're in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
We only use essential cookies to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
